Petra 4-5-11

With the day looking ok and our last full day we decided to go in search of Ruppell's Warbler in the Mountains
between Petra and Molyvos.
But this was cut short by a storm that quickly came in and we decided to head back down as we was walking in cloud but did manage to see our 1 and only male Collared Flycatcher
and added
Long-legged Buzzard
Sardinian Warbler
To the list, whilst having coffee and waiting for the storm to pass over 20 Greater Flamingos flew by heading out towards the island in the mouth of the bay at Petra.
Finally the storm passed and we made our way back towards Anaxos via the meadow where we knew the Sombre Tits would be there,we sat around for a hour or so and counted
24 European Bee-eater
at least 50 Whiskered Terns went by.
